Multimedia for Chapter 1:

I made a word collage and used words that people have answered me when I asked the question: "What is the first word that comes up in  your mind when you think about income inequality?"

Multimedia for Chapter 3:

I went around and asked my peers "What do you think democracy looks like from an immigrants' perspective?" I asked this question because I think it's important to hear the insights on this.

Multimedia for Chapter 2:

I made an online front page newspaper article that is talking about the Gender Equality vs. Female Empowerment.

"What do you think democracy looks like from an immigrant's perspective?"

"It would look foreign to them and be surprised by the benefits they get once they become a citizen."

- Kenny

"Democracy is the right to speak without being threatened from the gorverment. Democracy is also better opportunities and for bright futures for everyone."

- My

"I don't think it looks like democracy in any aspects of it. I think it's very unfair how people treat immigrants and we're kind of unaware of this injustice that we hold within ourselves. And as American citizen, we don't even have democracy ourselves, and I think they have it the worst."

- Marlyn

"I don't think democracy exists for undocumented immigrants, I think that they don't have any rights or human rights that every basic human shoukd have in America. America dehumanizes them and does not allow them to suceed in a place where we have all been immigrants once as well."

- Sadie

Multimedia for Chapter 3:

I asked my peers "What do you think democracy looks like from an immigrant's perspective?" and these were their responses.
